Back Alley Food Tours

Growing up as Chinese Americans, our families’ love language was food. Our parents didn’t always say “I love you”, but they did spend endless hours preparing hearty dishes and cutting up fresh fruit. Food is a gateway to understanding culture and the generations that came before us.


Join us on our backstreet food tours, where we will take you on a culinary adventure that features different regional cuisines of China, from Cantonese to Shandongese. We will explore local food markets, talk to owners of family restaurants, and learn more about why food is such an important part of Chinese culture. 


We plan to offer our first backalley food tour sometime in Spring 2025. Stay tuned for more information in the upcoming weeks for more detailed information about these tours!
